UBS honored in SRI and Sustainability Survey
UBS was named the Leading Brokerage Firm for Renewable Energy Research in the annual Thomson Reuters Extel/UKSIF Socially Responsible Investing & Sustainability Survey.
UBS was named the Leading Brokerage Firm for Renewable Energy Research and Julie Hudson, head of Global Sustainability Research in the Investment Bank, was honored as the Leading Brokerage Individual for Thematic Research in the 10th annual Thomson Reuters Extel/UKSIF Socially Responsible Investing & Sustainability Survey, the news agency announced.
UBS also received several other honors. The firm placed third in the Leading Brokerage Firm for SRI & Sustainability Overall and second in the Leading Brokerage Firm for Thematic Research categories. Jean-Francois Meymandi, an Investment Bank analyst in Switzerland, finished second in the Leading Brokerage Individual for Renewable Energy Research category and, in the Leading Brokerage Firm for Integrated Research on Climate Change, UBS took third place.
The 2012 Survey represents the views of over 500 investment professionals from 27 countries, making it the most extensive assessment of socially responsible investing in the European investment community. A total of 228 buy-side firms and 29 brokerage firms/research houses contribute to it.
