Our internship begins with a firm-wide, three day orientation and training program that will help you understand what we do, how things work and help to prepare you to join your team.

As an intern you will be working in a specific business area as a contributing member of a team. You will be at the heart of everything that takes place on a day-to-day basis, offering ideas and perspectives, asking questions and helping to solve problems.

Each business area runs a variety of events to help interns learn more about their team and for the team to get to know each intern. Relationships are important at UBS and our internship is a great way to start building them.

During your internship with us we want you to feel that you are a part of our organization and want to ensure you have all the support you need to be successful. You will be matched with a buddy who is a recent graduate to provide guidance during your summer with us.

UBS strives to improve the communities we do business in. You will be able to contribute by working on a Community Project. During the Community Project you will have the chance to work with other interns and build relationships.

We will offer you additional opportunities to interact with other interns and employees across business areas through our Business Seminars and Networking Events where experts will present on various areas of our business. During these seminars you will have the chance to learn more about our business and network with senior managers.

Throughout the internship you are given feedback to help you improve your work and develop your skills. At the end of the internship there is a formal assessment where you will receive feedback that can help you in your future endeavours. High performing interns may be offered a graduate role.
