On 19 September 2000 UBS held 5.0 % of its registered shares in the form of shares, reaching the total number of 21,558,429, and a potential 4.2 % in the form of derivatives. The position includes shares held by UBS Warburg for trading purposes and shares held by UBS Group Treasury, including shares repurchased through the second trading line destined for cancellation (accounting for 4.3% of registered shares).
