How do I collect points with my retirement planning?
When you make payments to your UBS Fisca account, you score points and save taxes at the same time. You receive 10 points per year when you deposit between CHF 3,000 and CHF 5,999 per year to the UBS Fisca account (restricted pension plan 3a); starting at CHF 6,000 you receive 20 points
How long are point checks valid?
Point checks are valid for one year beyond the end of the calendar year in which the points were collected. The period of validity is written on each point check. After the checks expire, they can be donated to the UBS Optimus Foundation or redeemed as an interest bonus until March 31 of the following year.
I'm an apprentice and I have to make every franc count, so I'm interested to know more about how I can collect KeyClub points as a UBS Generation client.
You can score points by making regular deposits to your UBS Generation personal account, for example. Points are also awarded for cashless payments with your UBS Maestro Card, or when you shop using your UBS Credit Card. You can also score points via special promotions.
I heard that there are special offers for young people and students. My son is doing an apprenticeship and my daughter is at college – where can my children find out more information?
UBS has put together two special packages for young people, including banking services, special services and attractive offers: UBS Generation for young people up to 22 years old, and UBS Campus for students up to 30. You can find all the information and latest offers on the Internet.
How do I activate my online account?
Log in to UBS e-banking and go to the “KeyClub” section. In most cases, you will immediately be shown a KeyClub participant number and asked to confirm that it is your own in order to activate the account. Answer the question with "yes" and also confirm the electronic agreement on the use of KeyClub in e-banking, which will appear next. You will then see your KeyClub data in e-banking and will be able to define your points settings and start shopping in the KeyClub eStore.
If immediate activation is not possible, you will be given the option of requesting an activation code. Once you have received it, log back in to UBS e-banking, go to the "KeyClub" section and enter it there. You will then be able to access your KeyClub data in UBS e-banking, define your points settings and start shopping in the KeyClub eStore the next time you log in.
What do the point settings mean?
100 percent physical:
All points will continue to be sent to you as paper checks.
Example: Disbursement of 50 points: 50 points sent by post (physically as a check).
50:50 in favor of physical:
You will receive half of your points as paper checks, and the other half will be credited to your Shop account in the eStore as electronic points. If one half of the points cannot be divided by ten without leaving a remainder, the majority of the points will be sent as paper checks.
Example: Disbursement of 50 points: 30 points by post (physically), 20 points electronically.
50:50 in favor of electronic:
You will receive half of your points as paper checks, and the other half will be credited to your Shop account in the eStore as electronic points. If one half of the points cannot be divided by ten without leaving a remainder, the majority of the points will be transferred electronically.

Data protection: Will the personal data I submit to you be treated confidentially?
We ask for various personal details from you in order to process your order. These data are required in order to deliver the product to you and may also be used for internal statistical purposes so that we get a better feel for your needs in the future. It goes without saying that your data will be treated in the strictest confidence and will not be forwarded to third parties.
Can physical points be converted into electronic points?
Yes. It couldn’t be simpler:
Click on www.ubs.com/keyclub and go to the “UBS KeyClub eStore” to download the relevant form, which you can then fill out and send in with your point checks to the address specified.
Please note the following important information:
- You first need to log in to the UBS KeyClub eStore so that we can credit you with your points.
- Please only send in valid points for conversion. Points that have expired cannot be processed and will not be returned.
- It may take up to 14 days before the points are credited to your eStore account.
- Conversion is free of charge.
