UBS supports Cleantech Switzerland, the official export platform for the Swiss cleantech industry. As the official partner for international financial services, UBS is contributing to achieving Cleantech Switzerland’s goal: to ease entry by Swiss cleantech companies into relevant cleantech markets worldwide by providing information, services and contacts, thereby increasing export sales and market profiles in these markets. A global network allows Cleantech Switzerland to pass on valuable information about project opportunities and events, and to set up contacts with potential business partners.

UBS is supporting GENILEM as national sponsor as part of its educational initiative to mark its 150-year anniversary. Switzerland’s biggest bank is providing both financial and human resources to aid the successful development of innovative young entrepreneurs who are provided with professional support by GENILEM following the GENILEM selection process.
UBS – supporting KMU Next
UBS supports the KMU Next foundation, whose primary purpose is to promote responsible and sustainable entrepreneurship in Switzerland, with funds and personnel. The foundation’s primary focus is on fostering awareness among the managers of small firms preparing to hand their businesses on and the provision of active support in corporate handovers or takeovers by means of networking events, expert knowledge and practical help.

The "Prix Sommet" honors Valais-based companies and entrepreneurs. The prize money totals CHF 10,000 and is awarded annually by UBS together with the Valais-based daily newspapers "Nouvelliste" and "Walliser Bote".
Swiss export, which is now the largest private sector organization, has been promoting the export activities of medium-sized Swiss businesses since 1973. It is an important competence and service center and is involved in many different areas in order to improve the competitiveness of and the conditions for internationally active companies. The means used to achieve this include specialist events (e.g. swiss export Day, PME/SME Forum), training courses and seminars, knowledge transfer via publications such as the "swiss export Journal", export consulting and the networking of export-oriented companies. As main partner, UBS maintains a close and longstanding partnership with swiss export.
We are training partners in the area of Trade & Export Finance, are involved in the management board and publish specialist articles in the "swiss export Journal" on a regular basis.
UBS supports Technopark Zurich in order to strengthen Switzerland's most important innovation park and its Alliance partners in Lugano, Lucerne, Schlieren, Windisch and Winterthur. We support the advisory committee with both human and financial resources. It offers selected tenants of the Technopark Alliance access to specific knowledge, coaching and a wide-reaching network. With our support we want to promote innovation as an integral part of sustainable value creation.
"Venture" is a nationwide competition of business ideas and plans that has been held every two years since 1998. It aims to support young entrepreneurs from Switzerland in establishing companies and thus promote young entrepreneurship and the use of untapped innovation potential. The "Venture" competition is supported by numerous Swiss companies, including UBS.
