  1. Results of the Annual General Meeting of UBS AG

    UBS AG shareholders re-elected the existing members of the Board of Directors proposed for re-election and also elected Isabelle Romy, Beatrice Weder di Mauro and Axel A. Weber to the Board for the first time at the Annual General Meeting on May 3, 2012. Following the meeting, the Board of Directors appointed Axel A. Weber its Chairman, as was its intention in the event of his election.

UBS's first quarter 2012 results: UBS first quarter adjusted pre-tax profit(1) CHF 2.2 billion with improved profits in all business divisions; reported pre-tax profit CHF 1.3 billion; wealth management businesses' net new money CHF 10.9 billion; industry-leading Basel 2.5 tier 1 ratio strengthened further to 18.7%; annualized Q1 2012 costs(2) down by CHF 1 billion; adjusted RoE approximately 13%
