Ben Heap is the Head of UBS Global Asset Management in Australia & New Zealand. He was appointed to this role in July 2010 with responsibility for the management and strategic development of the Institutional and Wholesale business in Australia and New Zealand. 

Career history
Ben has 17 years of investment industry experience and joined UBS in 2007. Prior to his appointment as Head of UBS Global Asset Management in Australia & New Zealand Ben was Head of the Infrastructure Asset Management team in the Americas, based in New York. In addition to his regional responsibility, he had global responsibility for the capital raising activities for Infrastructure, which forms part of UBS's broader offering of alternative investments. Before joining UBS, Ben was Head of Asset Management for an ASX listed Australian financial services firm. In this role, Ben was responsible for more than AUD 3 billion in funds under management across a range of traditional and alternative asset classes.
