Art Basel in Basel 2026

The world’s premier art fair returns to Basel this June as a leading platform for modern and contemporary art.

UBS is proud to continue its role as Global Lead Partner of Art Basel.

From June 18–21, 2026, the fair brings together 290 galleries and over 4,000 artists. Visitors can experience major installations in Unlimited, site-specific works in Parcours, and Zero 10, Art Basel’s new digital art platform.

A key highlight is the conversation The Art of Collecting: Navigating an Evolving Market, moderated by Melanie Gerlis and featuring leading gallerists alongside UBS Art Advisory experts Eric Landolt and Carola Wiese. Join us on Friday 19 June, from 1–2 p.m.

At the UBS Lounge, discover The Power of Words, a presentation from the UBS Art Collection, with works by artists such as Ed Ruscha, Tracey Emin, and Lorna Simpson. Across the city, additional projects include an installation by Kader Attia at the UBS Aeschenvorstadt branch, alongside a special giveaway.

UBS and Art Basel launch a five-part film series unpacking how value, emotion and change shape today’s art economy. Designed for both new and established collectors, Decoding the Art Market traces how value is created, what drives transactions, and how the market continues to evolve in a global and digital era.

With over 40,000 artworks by some of the most influential artists of our time, the UBS Art Collection is one of the most significant corporate collections worldwide. UBS has been collecting contemporary art since the 1960s. It is a passion that we share with a large global community of clients. Launched in 2019, the UBS Art Gallery is a public art space located in the lobby of our Midtown New York Headquarters at 1285 Avenue of the Americas. The gallery provides an opportunity to discover works from the UBS Art Collection, featuring permanent installations by important artists including Sarah Morris, Frank Stella, Fred Eversley and Howard Hodgkin, alongside a special program of temporary exhibitions.
