The UBS Wealth Management Campus – Asia Pacific is a centre of excellence for the development and execution of wide-ranging wealth management curricula. Located in the heart of Singapore, the Command House, a significant and historic building to the city state, has been transformed by UBS into a state-of-the-art training and conference facility through which our curricula are delivered. With the focus on our employees, clients and the community, it also serves as a hub for wealth management research and thought leadership in new wealth management initiatives, such as the development of philanthropy in the Asia Pacific region.
Curricula designed for success
Our curricula are carefully designed to train, develop and certify employees and members of the UBS Wealth Management community to high standards in leadership and management, risk management, legal & compliance issues, the technical areas of banking and finance, as well as advisory and sales skills. The learning environment is conducive to adult learning; it's practical, challenging, and promotes entrepreneurial thinking.
For clients of UBS, the Campus also offers a range of programs that have been tailored specifically to meet their needs. In the fast-moving financial world, UBS recognizes that clients' needs are diverse and constantly evolving. As part of its commitment to delivering value to its clients, UBS aims to enable them to remain best-informed investors. The Client Education programs at the Campus will therefore be continuously enhanced to help clients become more attuned with shifting wealth management trends, best practices, and solutions.
Command House – an architectural gem with a rich history
The Campus in Singapore is set on half a million square feet of landscaped grounds, with its classrooms in an unusual black, white and brown colonial building. Command House has had a rich history as the headquarters for influential British military leaders and statesmen, including Admiral Lord Louis Mountbatten, 1st Earl Mountbatten of Burma, last Viceroy and first Governor General of Independent India and Lieutenant-General A E Percival, who commanded the British forces during the Battle of Malaya and Battle of Singapore. More recently, it was the official residence of former President Ong Teng Cheong, the first directly-elected President of Singapore.
