Board of Directors (BoD)

The BoD is the most senior corporate body with ultimate responsibility for the strategy and the management of the company and for the appointment and supervision of its executive management.

	Peter Kurer (Chairman) Peter Kurer was elected to the Board of Directors at the AGM in April 2008 and thereafter appointed as Chairman. He chairs the Corporate Responsibility Committee and the Strategy Committee. CV

	Stephan Haeringer (non-independent Vice Chairman) Stephan Haeringer was elected to the Board of Directors in April 2004 and thereafter appointed as non-independent Vice Chairman. He is a member of the Corporate Responsibility Committee and the Risk Committee. CV

	Sergio Marchionne (independent Vice Chairman) Sergio Marchionne was elected to the Board of Directors at the AGM in April 2007 and appointed as independent Vice Chairman in 2008. He is a member of the Governance and Nominating Committee and of the Strategy Committee. CV

	Ernesto Bertarelli Ernesto Bertarelli was elected to the Board of Directors at the AGM in April 2002. He is a member of the Governance and Nominating Committee and of the Strategy Committee. CV
