In Canada, UBS is the biggest player among financial institutions in the physical and financial energy markets. UBS captured the position of the highest ranking bank in Platts Gas Daily’s latest ranking of North American natural gas marketers.

UBS is a member of all major power pools, and is positioned to trade, transport, and/or store natural gas on 55 U.S. pipelines and on all major Canadian pipelines. In North America UBS trades 4.3 Billion cubic feet of physical natural gas per day. This volume is equivalent to twice the average daily consumption of the state of New York.
