The Faldo Series Asia (FSA)
The Faldo Trust for Tomorrow's Champions program, founded by legendary golfer Nick Faldo, is designed in conjunction with National Golf Associations to help further develop and mentor elite junior golfers in their respective countries. It provides a network of competitive events culminating in a regional final to bring the best-of-the-best together. The foundation also works closely with the participating National Golf Associations to further promote the game with juniors of all playing abilities through clinics and tutorials.
The program teed off in seven Asian cities in 2006, including Singapore. In 2007 the Series expanded to 10 markets and aims to build on this growth in 2008. UBS guests play alongside the junior players and are provided the unique experience of joining clinics, prize ceremonies, and other activities at each event. As a grassroots program, UBS is pleased with the success of the Series, and remains committed to supporting the development of golf in Asia, and indeed Asian golf, at all levels.
