Children in Lithuania 
Safe haven and comprehensive help for child victims of violence and sexual abuse
According to official statistics*, 36,500 children in Lithuania grow up in a family or in an environment in which they are subjected to violence and sexual abuse. Comprehensive offers to help these children are therefore urgently needed. The organization "Children Support Centre" promotes a multidisciplinary system to help victims in the investigation of abuse cases and to offer them psychological, social and legal support.
