Intermediary Liaison is our dedicated service for professional private client advisers. As the first point of contact with UBS you can be assured that you have found your advocate in the bank. This is to save valuable time by explaining your clients' needs to one person who will ensure that the power of the bank is harnessed from day one and that the requirement is directed immediately to the correct resource internally. From simple needs to complex solutions you have only one call to make.

For a number of reasons the UK and London in particular has drawn a community of independent tax and estate planners who have acquired a global reputation in the provision of tax and estate planning world-wide. The fact that the UK is such an attractive tax haven for non-domiciled clients further enhances the role of the advisory community and has cultivated a very extensive international and cross border culture. This has created a dynamic market place where UBS can add real value as a truly global provider.

Communication needs to be concise, constructive and accurate in order to draw effectively from the strength and experience of UBS. There needs to be a two-way flow of ideas and innovative and well thought out strategies to meet our mutual clients' needs. Typical issues may include the tax effective unwinding of large single stock positions, Cash Management, Lending, Sales Brokerage, Trustee Services, Art or Real Estate banking, Pension Planning, Portfolio Management that may span from full discretion to client daily involvement, or just the straight forward planning of wealth protection for the international resident living in the UK.
