A shared commitment to the future

The UBS Optimus Foundation is a charitable foundation established by UBS which offers clients many different opportunities to help humanitarian causes. Children are at the heart of all that the Foundation does. Since 1999, the UBS Optimus Foundation has supported projects all around the world in our two core areas, "Children & Talents" and "Medical and Biological Research". In this way, we have secured access to education and healthcare for a great number of children.
Projects are subject to strict selection criteria and mainly support initiatives in the southern hemisphere, which is precisely where aid is most urgently required and brings the greatest, most long-lasting benefits. The UBS Optimus Foundation focuses particularly on projects that find targeted ways to assist girls. We believe firmly that the whole of society benefits if girls are better educated.
