Most children and young people in Switzerland use new electronic media on an almost daily basis. But do they use the Internet, cell phones and game consoles safely? These forms of media do not just hold unexpected opportunities, but also considerable risks.

The national prevention campaign "netcity.org" is being launched throughout Switzerland from spring 2010 by Action Innocence and the Swiss Foundation for Child Protection in cooperation with UBS Optimus Foundation. Its goal is to make children, parents and teachers aware of the dangers of new media and to promote their safe use. Playfully and on site.
