Is membership in UBS KeyClub free of charge?
Of course! Membership is free of charge and carries no obligations – financial or otherwise. You can cancel your membership at any time.

Where can I find out about UBS KeyClub partners?
The KeyClub magazine contains information on the offers that are currently available and an overview of all KeyClub partners. A copy will be sent to you four times a year, or you can pick one up at your local UBS branch. The same information can also be found at

How long are the bonus points cheques valid for?
Bonus point cheques are valid for two whole years following the end of the current year. The expiry date is marked on each cheque. After the expiry date the cheques may no longer be used.
Is the magazine also available in English?
No, the magazine is only published in German, French and Italian. However, all KeyClub information is available in English on the Internet.
Questions on signing up
I am a member of UBS KeyClub. Can I have the KeyClub statements belonging to my wife and my two children transferred to me?
Unfortunately this is not possible with family members, in spite of any powers of attorney that may exist. However, KeyClub automatically links multiple memberships held in the same name and sends the statement to one address.
Can numbered account clients and corporate clients also sign up?
No, numbered accounts and companies are not eligible to participate in UBS KeyClub. Company credit cards and credit cards in foreign currencies are also excluded.
My correspondence is retained by the bank since I live abroad. How and when will I receive my statements?
Statements are retained electronically in KeyClub Customer Service and can be ordered by phone. As the points cannot be used abroad, we recommend taking advantage of the interest bonus option for UBS CHF accounts. If you wish, we will be happy to send you your points together with the current issue of the UBS KeyClub Magazine – either directly to you or to your client advisor. This service is only available on request; statements are not sent automatically.
Questions on collecting points
Can I sign up for UBS KeyClub even if I am a small client?
Clients with assets between CHF 10,000 and CHF 50,000 benefit from membership in UBS KeyClub. You also have the option of earning additional points using your UBS Credit Card – regardless of how much money you have with UBS. Rewards are also given for client loyalty depending on the length of time you have been a member.
How can I collect points with my assets?
The amount of assets held in your UBS accounts and custody account is used as a base. Mortgages are also included in the points calculation, which is carried out on a quarterly basis. See

I still have other accounts at another UBS branch. Will these automatically be registered with UBS KeyClub?
No, registration is only at the accountholder's request. This also applies to UBS Credit Cards. Registration forms can be found in the KeyClub Magazine (available at all UBS branches) or at
"Apply for UBS KeyClub".
How do I collect points with my UBS Credit Cards?
You earn twice the points with your UBS Credit Cards: for the money you spend each month using each of your credit cards, and for the absolute credit card turnover of all the credit cards registered with UBS KeyClub from year to year. Points are awarded once per year. Additional spending is shown on the statement every quarter. The number of points you receive depends on the type of credit card you have. I am a new UBS KeyClub member. When will I start receiving loyalty points?
KeyClub awards loyalty points to active members once a year. The points are given out in January the following year, calculated on the basis of length of KeyClub membership and on the points generated in the calendar year in question.
What registration date is used to calculate my loyalty points if membership is interrupted for more than six months?
If your membership is interrupted for more than six months (deregistration followed by re-registration), your years of membership are calculated from the new registration date. No points are carried forward (i.e., if you had less than 25 points when your membership was terminated).
I have had a mortgage and a Fisca account with UBS for a number of years. My assets are managed at another bank. Since the balance on my Fisca account is less than CHF 10,000, is it worth signing up for UBS KeyClub?
Yes, we recommend that you sign up. Not only are points awarded each quarter for existing mortgages, but you also earn points for the money in your retirement savings account.
Have you considered transferring other assets to UBS? These would also earn you valuable points.
Questions on KeyClub offers for young people, students and families
I've heard that there are special offers for young people and students. My son is doing an apprenticeship, my daughter is at college. Where should my children go for information?
UBS has compiled two special packages for young people comprising a whole host of banking services and attractive offers: UBS Generation for young people up to the age of 22 and UBS Campus for students up to the age of 30. You can find all information and a list of current offers on the Internet at

Until now UBS KeyClub offers were only valid from 25 points and up. My son recently purchased an iPod using just five points. Where did these five point cheques come from?
Young people and students who sign up for UBS Generation or UBS Campus collect points according to rules tailored to their personal situation. For this reason, they also receive cheques for five and ten KeyClub points. Members with the UBS Family lifecycle solution also receive points cheques from 5 points. Additionally, all members with the basic offering "Pay and Save" likewise will receive point cheques from 5 points.
My daughter uses a Song Card from UBS to download music from the Apple iTunes Music Store Switzerland. Can I do this, too?
Yes, adult KeyClub members can also take advantage of cheaper downloads from iTunes. Song Cards for the Apple iTunes Music Store are available exclusively to UBS clients in all UBS branches across Switzerland. KeyClub members who collect points with UBS KeyClub can get the Song Cards at preferential rates.
I am a student and have signed up for UBS Campus. Will I be automatically enrolled as a KeyClub member?
UBS’s new rewards for young people and students also include free membership in the UBS KeyClub bonus programme. The idea behind it is simple:
You earn bonus points for your banking transactions, and four times a year you are sent bonus point cheques (together with a bonus points statement). You can redeem the points you have earned for attractive offers – 1 KeyClub point is worth CHF 1. See

Bonus points are easy to earn – for instance, by making regular deposits to your UBS personal account.
