In the event of loss or theft, free immediate replacement worldwide. Usually within 24 hours.
You benefit from a better exchange rate than the banknote rate for foreign currencies when making a purchase.
American Express Travelers Cheques are available in the following five currencies: US dollar, euro, Canadian dollar, Australian dollar and Japanese yen.
American Express Travelers Cheques in US dollars are accepted as an equivalent to cash by hotels, restaurants and shops, particularly in the US, but also in many other countries.

Fees for Travelers Cheques
A sales commission of 1%, min. CHF 5 is charged for Travelers Cheques.

You can, of course, also purchase foreign currency at UBS.

You can purchase foreign currency at any UBS branch or place an order by phone with your usual branch.

The World Money Direct service also allows you to have your Travelers Cheques or foreign currency sent to your home – usually within 24 hours. This service is free of charge and deliveries are insured.
