The UBS Optimus Foundation is a non-profit organization set up by UBS that offers its clients a broad range of opportunities to contribute to humanitarian projects. The Foundation has been actively engaged in southern Africa since its foundation in 1999 in its two core areas
and is currently involved in more than 15 projects.
The UBS Optimus Foundation sought to intesify its involvement in this region further and has therefore opened the "Regional Office Southern Africa" in February 2008. The objective is to achieve a greater leverage effect in the localities through a stronger networking with the project partners, and this has been achieved.
The cost of managing and administering the UBS Optimus Foundation is borne in full by UBS, so that your entire donation goes to the projects.
