John A. Fraser, Chairman and CEO Global Asset Management
John A. Fraser has been Chairman and CEO of UBS Global Asset Management since 2001. Before his appointment to this role, he served as President and COO of UBS Asset Management. Mr. Fraser joined the Group in Australia in 1993 and was named Head of Asia Pacific for the Business Group in 1999. Before joining UBS, Mr. Fraser was Deputy Secretary (Economic) of the Australian Treasury. Between 1973 and 1993, he held various positions in the Australian Treasury, including international postings at the IMF and Minister (Economic) at the Australian Embassy in Washington DC. Mr. Fraser is an Australian citizen.
