In late 2006, UBS completed the acquisition of Banco Pactual, one of Brazil’s top financial services institutions. UBS Pactual is the cornerstone of UBS operations in Brazil and throughout Latin America. We provide asset management services as well as fund administration and custody to Latin American clients under two names – UBS Pactual Asset Management and UBS Global Asset Management (offshore only).

A highly-renowned top player in the asset management market, UBS Pactual boasts a young, dynamic and meritocratic culture. Founded in 1984, the asset management team now consists of 40 professionals covering the onshore institutional, wholesale and fund services businesses. With an established track record of attractive returns and a strong focus on capital preservation and risk management, UBS Pactual has become Brazil’s largest asset manager without a retail outlet.

Now, through the advantageous combination of the deep local knowledge of UBS Pactual with the global reach and resources of UBS Global Asset Management, we are well positioned to service client-specific needs onshore and offshore. Our broad range of investment capabilities are designed to meet the needs of institutional investors (e.g., governments, pension funds, banks, corporate treasuries, family offices, foundations), the wholesale intermediary marketplace and individual investors.
