As a UBS client, you currently receive your bank documents in paper form. The new e-documents service allows you to obtain all your UBS documents electronically in PDF format.
What are e-documents?
E-documents are identical in content to physical bank documents and are electronically signed. This means that they meet the legal requirements for archiving and completely replace today's physical bank documents.
What are the options for accessing e-documents?
The UBS documents can either be accessed directly or via an external archiving provider.
Direct access: You are already using the UBS KeyDirect, UBS AssetLink (via the UBS KeyGate interface) or UBS KeyLink
services and have business management software including an archiving solution which meets your legal requirements
. These are the basic requirements for you to be able to access e-documents directly.
Access via an external archiving provider: If an outsourcing solution for archiving is preferred, it is possible to access the e-documents via an external archiving provider. These UBS software partners
offer suitable solutions.
Access via UBS e-banking: From 2009 onward, we expect that e-documents for business clients will also be offered via UBS e-banking.
