Things to know for the online application:
With a few exceptions, all applications must be submitted online through this website.
Candidates in the UK and Asia Pacific can only apply for one position at any given time. Candidates in all other regions can apply for up to three positions at any given time.
Easy-to-follow on-screen instructions lead you through the application process. There are up to five stages for you to complete: personal details, education, work experience, languages and skills and additional information.
Completing your application will take a while, so it’s a good idea to give yourself plenty of time. Also, you don’t have to do it all in one sitting. You can stop at any time and save your application in draft form to complete later. But don’t wait too long though, as your draft will only be saved for 30 days. And please note that we will not treat draft or incomplete applications as having been submitted for our consideration.
Before you begin, make sure you have all of the supporting information you need, particularly when it comes to answering the detailed questions on your educational background and work experience.
For some positions, you may be asked to complete a set of open-ended questions. These require in-depth responses from you on topics such as how you came to choose a particular position, business or region and how your personal qualities will make UBS more successful.
You may be required to submit additional documents in support of your application before you click the submit button.
You may also be asked to complete some online testing to support your application. You will receive an email invitation if the online testing is relevant to your submission.
There are no wrong answers – just take your time and compose your thoughts. Together, we’ll see what we both have to offer.
