THE PLAYERS Championship
The Players
Just competing in THE PLAYERS enhances a player's status because the event features the strongest field in professional golf and requires that all entrants meet a set of qualifying guidelines.

To qualify for THE PLAYERS in 2010, a player has to meet at least one of a dozen competition-based conditions, including: at least one PGA TOUR win since March 2009; be ranked among the top 125 on the 2009 PGA TOUR money list; won a recent Major, THE PLAYERS, or a World Golf Championships event; be among the top 50 in the World Golf Rankings. Once through the various categories, any remaining places go to top players based on the provisional 2009 rankings. Also, the winner of the Constellation Energy Senior Players Championship and the Nationwide Tour’s leading money winner will be eligible to play.
