Art Basel and UBS
As Main Sponsor, UBS has not only impressively implemented but also continuously developed its sponsoring concept.

UBS further consolidated the partnership in 1999, when Art Basel founded a new platform called Art Unlimited. This section provides artists with an additional hall in which to exhibit their work which could not be presented at the regular stands due to lack of space, prohibitive costs or conceptional and technical restrictions.

However Art Unlimited is not just an exhibition - the projects on display are also for sale. The partnership was expanded with UBS's support of Art Basel Miami Beach. The U.S.-based fair was inaugurated in December 2002. Within two years, it has became a major attraction within the American art scene.

Throughout Art 40 Basel, UBS will offer a variety of special events and services for clients and invited guests.
