GLAAD
The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) is dedicated to promoting and ensuring fair, accurate and inclusive representation of people and events in the media as a means of eliminating homophobia and discrimination based on gender identity and sexual orientation.

Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network
The Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) was founded as a local volunteer group of 70 gay and lesbian educators in 1990. Today, GLSEN is the leading national education organization focused on ensuring safe schools for all students of all sexual orientations. GLSEN envisions a future in which every child learns to respect and accept all people regardless of their sexual orientation or means of gender identity/expression.

Stonewall
Founded in 1989, Stonewall is one of UK's civil rights organizations that works to achieve equality and justice for lesbians, gay men and bisexuals. They campaign to ensure that legislation is non-discriminatory and that the diversity and value of LGB life is appropriately recognized in law. Stonewall also works to continuously challenge the underlying cultural and attitudinal values that allow discrimination to flourish and work to have diversity valued positively.
