UBS is committed to developing a diverse talent pipeline across all businesses globally. Our innovative, flexible culture rooted in respect ensures that all talented UBS employees have the opportunity to thrive. As a result, we attract and retain open-minded, dedicated employees, each bringing a multitude of diverse perspectives to the firm.
Our internships offer an insight into our culture and working environment. UBS partners with a variety of organizations globally, which provide access to a diverse pool of candidates.
At the same time, we have increased our support for organizations, such as INROADS (provides high-quality college internships to talented minority youth with sponsor organizations), SEO – Sponsor for Educational Opportunity (focuses on developing the personal, academic and career potential of students of color, particularly those from low-income backgrounds), and the Robert A. Toigo Foundation (supports the on going advancement of exceptional minority business degree students) that strive to promote diversity and remove the barriers, real or perceived, to greater representation for minority groups in our workforce.
UBS is the longest-standing supporter of AIESEC, the world's biggest student society with 25,000 members in 100 countries. Our Global Exchange Partnership gives talented young people an international internship experience whilst providing UBS with a recruitment pipeline of diverse, high performing graduates. This internship program is especially focused towards students from emerging markets countries.
We also have relationships with Employability and Employment Opportunities in the UK. These organizations focus on sourcing bright undergraduates with disabilities who may not otherwise consider a career in the Financial services industry and also help in training staff members on disability etiquette and reasonable adjustments.
As the firm continues to focus on attracting the best talent, UBS recognizes that people with disabilities could bring creative and innovative solutions to the firm. We have implemented a disability outreach program in most locations in APAC and are offering internships to young students with disability.
