Diversity, one of our seven core values at UBS, is essential to our global success.

In order to capitalize on the inherent creativity and innovation of a diverse workforce we have based our Global Diversity Strategy on four key elements:

The scope of UBS's Diversity initiatives is global but driven by local implementation through the 10 separate Regional Diversity Boards in Asia, Australia & New Zealand, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland, the UK and US. Each board is responsible for identifying and tackling regional or country specific issues.
Diversity initiatives are aimed at management which serves as a culture change agent for the organization.
Diversity content is fully integrated into all key business and HR processes to perpetuate self-sustaining Diversity.
Partnerships are developed to support diverse client marketing and relationship-building initiatives to further UBS’s growth strategy.

The growth of the Global Diversity Strategy is driven by the development of innovative programs to attract and retain diverse talent, building commercial linkages with target client segments, creating ownership and accountability for Diversity initiatives and rolling out focused communications internally and externally.

Ultimately, we expect our employees and managers alike to respect differences and recognize that valuable contributions are made in different forms. We integrate Diversity into our daily business interactions with colleagues and clients. This enables us to succeed in a diverse, global marketplace.
