Our employees

Diversity is a strong part of our culture at UBS. Over the last few years, we have focused on integrating Diversity into our daily management processes, including recruiting, talent development and performance management.

Recruiting

The recruitment—and retention—of a diverse pool of talent is the responsibility of every manager; HR is an important partner in supporting our business leaders.

Talent development

Diversity components have been woven into existing talent development programs, and two separate, new Diversity trainings have been created:

  • Actor-based training. More than 3,000 employees have attended this highly interactive Diversity awareness training for Managing Directors and Executive Directors.

  • Diversity online training. More than 10,000 employees have participated in this 30-minute interactive training program. Designed to help employees integrate Diversity into their day-to-day behavior, this training features videos, on-screen exercises and virtual focus group discussions.

Performance management

Diversity has been fully integrated into UBS’s performance measurement and management system (PMM) with mandatory Diversity objectives for senior business leaders.
