Our communities

Our Community Affairs program is focused on the key themes of “empowerment through education” and “building a stronger community”. This program encompasses activities such as cash donations, employee volunteering, matched-giving, in-kind donations and disaster relief efforts.

Through dedicated Community Affairs teams in each region, UBS develops relationships with local organizations. Employees annually spend over 80,000 hours volunteering, and UBS supports their commitment by matching their cash donations and, depending on location, offering two working days a year for volunteering efforts.

As part of a focus to increase diverse vendor participation, our Supplier Diversity program seeks to build partnerships with minority- and women-owned vendors. The diverse marketplace in the US especially offers UBS the chance to recruit new suppliers and clients.
